Letting Go of Limiting Beliefs (Without All the Effort!)

Have you ever felt like you’ve done so much inner work, but those sneaky limiting beliefs just won’t budge? You journal, you affirm, you analyze, and yet—there they are, popping up like an annoying song stuck in your head. 🎶

I get it. I’ve been there too. For years, I thought I had to work hard to change my beliefs. I thought if I could just figure out the root cause, dig deep enough, and rewrite the story, I’d finally be free. But here’s what I discovered: letting go doesn’t have to be hard at all.

Beliefs Are Just Energy—So Let’s Stop Overthinking

We’ve all been told that our beliefs shape our reality. And while that’s true, here’s the thing—your beliefs are not YOU.They’re just energy patterns you’ve picked up along the way. Maybe from your parents, from society, from past experiences (or even past lives if you’re feeling extra cosmic today). Whatever the source, beliefs are not permanent.

And this is where it gets fun… you don’t have to analyze them to let them go.

Think of it like this: Imagine you’re holding a heavy backpack. Someone tells you that, before you can put it down, you need to go through every single item inside and understand why you packed it. Sounds exhausting, right?

Or… you could just drop the whole backpack and walk away lighter.

It’s the same with limiting beliefs. You don’t need to unpack them—you just need to shift the energy.

How Do You Shift the Energy?

It’s actually way easier than we’ve been led to believe. (Which, ironically, is another belief worth letting go of. 😉)

The fastest way? Movement. Energy gets stuck when we stay still—mentally or physically. So one of my favorite things to do when I feel stuck is… bounce in my chair. Yes, really! Try it. Right now. Just a little wiggle, a tiny bounce. Looks ridiculous? Maybe. But I promise you’ll feel a shift. And once your energy moves, those limiting beliefs? They start to dissolve.

Other ways to shift energy? Breathwork, dancing, shaking it out, listening to Light Language (my fave!), or simply deciding: This belief is not mine anymore. I let it go.
